Welcome

Kenilworth Practical Martial Arts Club has been teaching martial arts in kenilworth for over 19 years at the Abbey Hill Reform Church Hall, Kenilworth. We are a small but friendly club teaching freestyle karate which also incorporates techniques from various traditional styles. Ideal for all ages, both young and old, male and female. KPMAC teaches karate with emphasis on realistic techniques for defence and attack, yet still retain the style and grace of traditional martial arts.

You will be taught many useful self defence techniques which, with regular practice, will become second nature. You will build up your speed, power and most importantly, will quicken your reflexes. Knowing this helps increase your confidence and self assurance. Karate is an excellent enjoyable way of keeping fit, developing yourself both physically and mentally, all within a friendly controlled club atmosphere.

Classes are taken by qualified black belt instructors which means everyone can learn if they regularly attend classes. Size and strength are not essential, since effective self defence requires only good technique. Everyone can benefit regardless of ability or previous experience. Your skill and knowledge will tested at regular belt gradings and you will feel a great sense of achievement and satisfaction as you progress towards your black belt.
